  1. When I see that envelope a few days into the new year, I know a special missive awaits me. I find a cozy spot. pick up a cat and be sure there is a tissue box nearby. The Daly Greeting is the best family report and, though the Dalys I knew well are gone, those who are here now are reminders of a great and noble media heritage.

AssociationTRENDS is gone and nothing is left of the stories to which John Daly often contributed. I still have the pictures John took at Arlington when Frank Martineau was buried but the company that acquired TRENDS tossed the bound volumes and just a few single copies exist. I miss the contact, the excitement of “a scoop” and seeing the printed copy each week. I am old.

Thanks for not forgetting this old Daly fan.

Cheers to you all, Jill Martineau Cornish, IOM

    1. Thanks, Jill. We really appreciate your kind words. Knowing that longtime readers like you still enjoy The Daly Greeting help us keep the tradition going. My dad was a big fan of your dad and AssociationTRENDS — sorry to hear that the bound volumes are gone.

Happy New Year to you and your family!
